Food processing equipment from China
We select food processing equipment for your product and throughput, from individual machines to complete lines. Before shipment we check the stainless steel, hygienic design and electrics.
Buying in China: what you need to know
China makes food processing equipment for virtually every sector, but its factories are highly specialised. Meat processing equipment is widely made in Shandong (Zhucheng), milling and grain equipment in Henan province, stainless steel tanks for dairy and food plants and sanitary valves in Zhejiang (Wenzhou), and bakery and confectionery equipment in Guangdong and around Shanghai. Buying food processing equipment from China pays off when you choose a factory that makes your exact type of machine, not a trading company with a broad catalogue.
What matters most is the product and the process, not the catalogue. For milk — the pasteurisation regime, separator throughput and CIP cleaning; for bread — the oven type (rack, deck, tunnel) and mixers suited to your recipe; for dried fruit and nuts — grading, drying and removal of impurities. Equipment in contact with the product must be made of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, with smooth welds free of pores and crevices where product residue collects.
Factory tiers differ markedly. Low-cost machines are often made of cheaper 201 stainless instead of 304, thin sheet, unfinished welds and household-grade electrical components. Mid- and top-tier factories use certified metal, fit lines with frequency inverters and controllers from well-known brands, and provide wiring diagrams and data sheets. The difference only shows up on inspection and measurement, so catalogue photos guarantee nothing.
Typical buyer mistakes are ordering machines from different factories without checking that their capacities match, overlooking the 380 V / 50 Hz supply, and leaving spare knives, sieves and seals out of the order. We assemble a line as a system: we match the throughput of each unit, check the steel grade at the factory, arrange a trial run on your raw material or a close equivalent, and only then ship the equipment to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.

How we check this particular product
- Stainless steel grade
- We check mill certificates for the metal and, if needed, run a quick composition analysis at the factory to tell AISI 304/316 from 201 steel.
- Hygienic design
- We inspect welds, polishing, absence of dead zones, and ease of access to units for cleaning and disassembly.
- Line throughput
- We check each machine’s throughput against the overall line layout so there is no bottleneck.
- Trial run
- We arrange a test run on your raw material or a close equivalent and record the result on video.
- Electrics and automation
- We check the 380 V / 50 Hz supply, motor protection rating, control cabinet components and the availability of wiring diagrams.
What to send for an accurate quote
- Product and recipe or process flow diagram
- Required throughput (kg/h or pcs/h)
- Workshop area and height, layout if available
- Utilities: electricity, gas, steam, water
- List of machines or a turnkey line requirement
- Delivery city and desired timeline
Shipping: what to keep in mind
Oversized units
Ovens, tanks and chambers often need flatracks or open-top containers; we calculate dimensions before ordering.
Protecting stainless surfaces
Polished surfaces are wrapped in film and crated to prevent scratches and contact corrosion from carbon steel.
Line in one shipment
All machines in a line ship together, labelled according to the layout, so installation can start without waiting for missing units.
Documents and certificates
Uzbekistan
For equipment subject to mandatory certification — an O‘zstandart certificate of conformity. We check the list by HS code.
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia (EAEU)
As a rule, TR CU 010/2011 “On the safety of machinery and equipment”, plus TR CU 004/2011 and 020/2011 for the electrical part. We check by HS code.
Food contact
We request certificates from the factory for food-contact materials — inspectors and customers often ask for them.
Requirements depend on the exact HS code. We check them before purchase and include the cost of certification in the quote.
HS codes and duty rates
| HS code | Product | EAEU CCT rate (KZ, KG, RU) | Calculate for your country |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8438 10 100 0 | Bakery equipment | 0% | Calculate |
| 8514 19 100 0 | Electric bakery and confectionery ovens | 0% | Calculate |
| 8438 20 000 0 | Confectionery equipment | 0% | Calculate |
| 8438 50 000 0 | Meat and poultry processing equipment | 0% | Calculate |
| 8434 20 000 0 | Dairy machinery | 0% | Calculate |
| 8421 11 000 0 | Cream separators | 0% | Calculate |
| 8438 60 000 0 | Fruit, nut and vegetable processing equipment | 0% | Calculate |
| 8437 80 000 0 | Milling equipment | 0% | Calculate |
EAEU rates are taken from the official EAEU Common Customs Tariff (EEC Council Decision No. 80), excluding preferences and temporary exemptions. For Uzbekistan and other countries the calculator uses the rate of the selected country. The final code depends on the exact product description.
Questions about this category
Can I buy a turnkey food processing line from China?
Yes. We select machines for your product and throughput, check that the units match and ship the line in one consignment. Installation and commissioning are agreed with the factory separately: on-site engineers or remote support.
How can you tell 304 stainless from 201?
They look almost identical. We request mill certificates for the metal and, if needed, check the composition with an analyser at the factory. The contract specification fixes the steel grade for all product-contact parts.
Can the equipment be tested before shipment?
Yes. We arrange a trial run at the factory, preferably on your raw material — you send samples. The result is recorded on video, and only then do we approve shipment.
Will the equipment work on our power supply?
We order the 380 V / 50 Hz version, standard in Uzbekistan and the CIS. If the site has gas or steam, we specify its parameters in the brief and the factory fits suitable burners and valves.
Which spare parts should be ordered up front?
Usually mincer knives and plates, sieves, seals, belts, heating elements and sensors. We agree the list with the factory for the specific line and include it in the delivery.
How long does food processing equipment take to make?
Series machines — depending on availability, usually 15–45 days. Lines and non-standard equipment follow the factory schedule, which we fix in the contract. Road delivery to Tashkent takes 12–20 days.
Do food processing machines need certificates?
It depends on the HS code and the importing country. For the EAEU, conformity with TR CU 010/2011 is usually required; for Uzbekistan we check whether an O‘zstandart certificate is needed. We include the cost of certification in the quote in advance.
