China produces most of the world’s home appliances. Major manufacturers are Midea and Gree (Guangdong) and Haier and Hisense (Qingdao, Shandong). Supplier clusters have formed around them: Shunde (Foshan) and Zhongshan are centres for kitchen and small appliances, Cixi (Ningbo, Zhejiang) for small appliances and water heaters. So you can buy home appliances wholesale from China in two ways: a well-known brand’s products or OEM under your own trademark.

Major manufacturers sell branded appliances through official regional distributors, and the terms for your country have to be confirmed with them. OEM production gives more freedom: you choose a model from the factory’s range, the panel design, logo, packaging and accessories. What matters here is the minimum volume per model, consistency of components (compressor, motor, heating element) and the factory’s warranty obligations.

When choosing, look beyond price. Appliances must be rated for 220–230 V 50 Hz mains, have the right plug type, and manuals and labelling in Russian — and for some markets in the state language as well. Typical buyer mistakes are ordering a model built for another market (with a different plug and frequency), not stocking spare parts for service, and not checking electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification requirements in advance. Fixing this after the batch arrives costs far more.
