Buses, electric vehicles and hybrids from China
We supply city, intercity and school buses, electric buses, EVs and hybrids for companies and fleets. We check the specification for your country: language, charging, climate and registration requirements.
Buying in China: what you need to know
Chinese buses are made by several large plants: Yutong in Zhengzhou, King Long and Golden Dragon in Xiamen, Higer in Suzhou, Zhongtong in Liaocheng, Shandong province. They have export versions properly specified for the CIS: heating and air conditioning for wide temperature swings, reinforced suspension, engines of the required emission class or an electric drivetrain. Electric cars and hybrids are made by BYD (Shenzhen), Chery (Wuhu), Changan (Chongqing), Geely and its Zeekr brand (Zhejiang), and Li Auto (Beijing).
When buying a bus from China, we start with the route: low-floor city, suburban, coach or school. Capacity, number of doors, engine or battery type, electric bus range and the depot charging scheme all matter. For passenger EVs and hybrids, the key is the version: cars built for the Chinese domestic market may have infotainment without Russian and services that do not work outside China. We check the charging connector type — GB/T or CCS2 — against your country’s infrastructure, as well as how the climate system and battery perform in heat and frost.
Supply sources vary: official factory export divisions, dealers, and resellers from the domestic market. Export versions come with documents for certification and a factory warranty. Domestic-market vehicles often have a different specification and harder paperwork. A typical mistake is buying an EV on price alone without checking the version, charging connector, battery condition and import requirements. Recycling fees, duties and import restrictions differ by country and change over time — we check your country’s requirements before purchase.
We work with fleets, transport operators, municipal customers and companies buying EVs for their own use. We agree the specification, inspect vehicles before shipment, arrange delivery and prepare documents for certification and registration.

How we check this particular product
- CIS specification
- We confirm the version: interface language, navigation, climate system, charging connector type, engine emission class.
- Battery and range
- We request the battery type and capacity, a battery health report and the battery warranty terms.
- Import documents
- Before purchase we check which documents are needed for certification and registration in your country, and that the factory can provide them.
- Pre-shipment inspection
- Body, interior, electrics, charging, safety systems, completeness; photos and video of every vehicle.
- VIN and year
- We match the VIN, production date and specification against the invoice — this affects customs clearance.
What to send for an accurate quote
- Type: bus (city, intercity, school) or passenger car
- Capacity, or model and trim
- Powertrain: diesel, CNG, electric, hybrid
- Where the vehicles will be charged and which connectors are standard in your country
- Quantity and desired timeline
- Country of registration
Shipping: what to keep in mind
Transport method
Buses are driven or carried on lowbeds; cars go on car carriers, in containers or by rail. We choose based on the number of vehicles and timeline.
EVs are dangerous goods
Vehicles with lithium batteries are shipped under dangerous goods rules; state of charge and documents follow the carrier’s requirements.
Lead times
By road to Tashkent 12–20 days, by rail 18–30 days. Built-to-order vehicles follow the factory schedule, which we fix in the contract.
Documents and certificates
Uzbekistan
An O‘zstandart certificate of conformity and vehicle registration. We check import requirements for passenger cars and EVs before purchase.
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia (EAEU)
TR CU 018/2011: the manufacturer’s vehicle type approval (VTA) or a single vehicle safety certificate (SBKTS), followed by an electronic vehicle passport. We check the recycling fee and duties by HS code.
For all countries
Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, factory documents with the VIN, traction battery documents.
Requirements depend on the exact HS code. We check them before purchase and include the cost of certification in the quote.
HS codes and duty rates
| HS code | Product | EAEU CCT rate (KZ, KG, RU) | Calculate for your country |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8702 10 119 3 | Diesel buses, new, 11.5 m and longer, emission class 4 and above | 10% | Calculate |
| 8702 40 000 9 | Electric buses (electric motor only) | 10% | Calculate |
| 8703 80 000 3 | Passenger electric cars M1, plug-in charging | 15% | Calculate |
| 8703 60 602 9 | Plug-in hybrids (PHEV), new, ICE 1.5–1.8 l | 15% | Calculate |
| 8703 60 609 9 | Plug-in hybrids (PHEV), new, ICE 1.8–3.0 l | 15% | Calculate |
| 8504 40 550 0 | Battery chargers | 0% | Calculate |
EAEU rates are taken from the official EAEU Common Customs Tariff (EEC Council Decision No. 80), excluding preferences and temporary exemptions. For Uzbekistan and other countries the calculator uses the rate of the selected country. The final code depends on the exact product description.
Questions about this category
Can I buy a Yutong bus directly from China?
Yes. We work with factory export divisions and dealers. We agree a specification for your route and climate and deliver with documents for certification.
Which Chinese EV is suitable for Uzbekistan?
You need an export version with Russian-language infotainment and a connector for the local charging network. Send us the model and we will check the version, battery and import requirements.
How does an export version differ from a Chinese domestic-market car?
The export version has a different infotainment language and services, sometimes a different charging connector and trim, and above all the documents for certification. A domestic-market car may run into difficulties at registration.
How much does customs clearance of an EV cost?
It depends on the country, the HS code, the recycling fee and current incentives, which change. We calculate customs payments for your model before purchase.
Do you supply electric buses with charging stations?
Yes. We select electric buses and charging stations together, based on route length, timetable and the power available at the depot.
Hybrid or EV — which to choose?
If there are few charging stations along your routes, a hybrid or PHEV is more practical. For city use with charging at home or the office, an EV is convenient.
How long does bus delivery from China take?
By road to Tashkent 12–20 days, by rail 18–30 days. If the bus is built to order, the production time is fixed in the contract according to the factory schedule.
