Buying in China: what you need to know
China is the largest producer of plastics processing equipment. Injection moulding machines are mainly made in Zhejiang (Ningbo — Haitian and dozens of factories around it) and Guangdong (Foshan — Yizumi, Guangzhou — Borche). Extrusion lines and blow moulding machines are concentrated in Jiangsu, especially Zhangjiagang. Moulds come from Huangyan (Taizhou), Ningbo, Shenzhen and Dongguan. You can buy an injection moulding machine from China from a brand or from a small assembler — the difference lies in hydraulic reliability, injection accuracy and service. That is why we always give the buyer a comparison of several suppliers for the same machine configuration, not a single catalogue option.
Machine selection starts with the part. Clamping force is calculated from the projected area of the moulding and the material, shot volume from the weight of the part including runners, and tie-bar spacing from the mould dimensions. For PE and PVC pipe extrusion, diameter and SDR, screw type, throughput in kg/h and vacuum sizing matter; for film — bubble width and number of layers; for PET bottles — volume, number of cavities and output in bottles per hour.
Injection moulding machines with a servo-driven hydraulic pump use noticeably less electricity than machines with a fixed-speed induction motor — for round-the-clock operation this matters more than the price difference. Low-cost assemblers cut corners on hydraulics, the controller and the screw and barrel material. Brands offer better shot-weight repeatability and more service centres and spare parts.
Common mistakes are buying the machine separately from the mould and then finding that the mould does not fit between the tie bars or within the opening stroke; ordering a mould without agreeing the steel and number of cavities; and forgetting the chiller, dryer and material loader. We select moulding and extrusion equipment as a package, check the mould in a trial shot, and deliver the line to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries with spare parts.

Shipping: what to keep in mind
Heavy equipment
Large injection moulding machines and extrusion lines need flatracks or open-top containers; we check lashing during loading.
Moulds
Moulds are preserved against corrosion and packed in wooden crates; if urgent, small moulds can go by air (3–7 days).
Complete line
Extrusion lines ship as several packages — we label the units according to the layout and check completeness before dispatch.

Uzbekistan
An O‘zstandart certificate of conformity — if the equipment is on the mandatory certification list. We check by HS code.
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia (EAEU)
Usually TR CU 010/2011 “On the safety of machinery and equipment”, and 004/2011 and 020/2011 for the electrical part. We check by HS code.
Technical documentation
We request electrical and hydraulic diagrams, manuals, mould drawings and the trial shot report.
Requirements depend on the exact HS code. We check them before purchase and include the cost of certification in the quote.

Can I order a mould in China from a sample?
Yes. From a sample or 3D model the factory produces a mould drawing, agrees it with you and, after manufacture, does a trial shot. We send you sample parts before shipment.
Brand or small factory — which to choose?
For round-the-clock production and precision parts, a brand with service and spare parts usually pays off. For simple parts and small volumes an assembler’s machine can work, but we check the hydraulics, controller and screw.
Do you supply PE pipe production lines?
Yes, PE pipe extrusion lines for water, gas and drip irrigation — for the diameter range you need. Dies for additional diameters can be ordered with the line.
Is there equipment for recycling plastic waste?
Yes: granulators, washing lines, agglomerators and pelletisers. We select them by waste type — film, bottles, rigid plastics.
How long does it take to get an injection moulding machine?
Series models — depending on availability, usually 15–45 days. Extrusion lines and moulds follow the factory schedule, which we fix in the contract. Road delivery to Tashkent takes 12–20 days, rail 18–30 days.
Will you help with start-up?
We arrange with the factory for an engineer to come for installation and training, or for remote support. The terms are fixed in the contract before payment.
